The Advanced Emergency Communications Coalition is an international advocacy organization that cultivates cohesive and collaborative approaches to improve end-to-end emergency communications.
Together, our members work to innovate technologies, advance public policy, and establish awareness. Our goal is to develop and improve upon lifesaving services, procedures, training sessions, and tools that maximize value for emergency responders and health care providers. Advocating for the improvement of emergency communications and services is critical right now. In the years ahead, it will involve multifaceted choices and compound issues in order to transition all emergency communications services to a new IP-based infrastructure. Global coordination efforts are developing rapidly and all stakeholders need to be aware and involved. Coalition members have a strong interest in improving the environment of emergency response and applying modern next generation technologies. Members currently include leading nonprofit organizations, corporations, agencies, and individuals in numerous interconnected industries that all impact emergency communications, services, and response. |
